Potsize – 1L

A quite similar species to C.pentaphyllos but with a few significant differences. The flowers of this species are a satiny lilac white rather than pink and the tendency is for it to spread more. The leaves are similarly bold with 7 (hepta-) lobes rather than the 5 in pentaphyllos and quinquefolia. It is larger and bolder than C.quinquefolia but similarly appears in very early spring with a curved shoot with leaves and flower buds already formed so that it is amongst the first flowers of Spring. It becomes dormant as soon as the dryness and heat of Summer start. For a cool position in leafy soil in shade. 20-30cm tall.
