Potsize – 1L

One of the lovely new species that are coming in from Asia to compliment the North American species that have been around for so long. The growth is quite similar to M.racemosa with arching stems up to 60cm long with broad lanceolate leaves with prominent ridges. The flowers however are far more starry with narrow green petals and a bright green style. They are held on a branching raceme that begins clustered and drooping from the apex of the stem and gradually opens out and straightens. The flowers are followed by bright orange berries. We offer two forms of this plant, one with green stems, the other dark stems which are quite dramatic early on in the season. For a moist, humus rich soil in part shade. From forest slopes in China, Bhutan, North India and Myanmar.
