Potsize – 9cm
Lychnis flos-cuculi 'White Robin'. This the white form of our native Ragged Robin, a wildflower of damp meadows and ditches. It can be used to naturalise in grass, but when released into the border, freed from competition, it can really hold its own amongst more exotic introductions. Tends to be a little shorter than the pink form and more refined in its appearance. In spring numerous sticky flowering stems are thrown up carrying loads of ragged-petalled white flowers that are excellent nectar sources for bees. 60cm. May-June
