Potsize – 1L

Aceriphyllum rossii. A subtle, but very nice species for growing in a moist soil in not too much sun. A creeping rootstock carries leafy mounds of Maple-like foliage which turns a rich crimson from Summer into the Autumn. Small pink tinged white flowers are carried in 45cm high sprays in Spring. A Korean species, found naturally growing in rock crevices along stream banks. Not for limey soils. A close relative of Bergenia, which can be seen easily in the shape of the flowering stems and in the fact that the two have been successfully crossed.
