The most fantastic of foliage plants for a prime warm spot with a little shelter. Gorgeous leaves are large and pinnate with boldly toothed leaflets in a striking glaucous blue. They are held with great grace and form. Spikes of red bracted flowers are sometimes produced in a second year if the flowering stems survive the winter. Herbaceous in a colder spot and evergreen where more shelter is available. Late out of the ground in colder areas.
