Potsize – 1L
Persicaria bistorta ‘Superba’ (Polygonum bistortum ‘Suberbum’). A handsome, vigorous clump-forming perennial prized for its weed-smothering foliage generously produced branching spikes of pretty cylindrical pokers of densely packed cool pink flowers. The tightly packed heads are reminiscent of our native orchids and are much loved by flower arrangers. Useful to create a vertical accent in a Summer border. This is a plant that has been around for ever and is possibly overlooked because of it. It is however easy and really quite lovely if you care to take the time to look. A hearty grower for a moist position, though it will tolerate a wide range of conditions. A moister spot prolongs the flowering period. June-August. 100cm. Derived from our native bistort.
Discount of 25p per plant for quantities of 3 or over
