Potsize – 1L
A rare and sought after Roscoea with vivid red stems the colour of rich ruby (not forced) rhubarb. The legs are gartered at intervals with a handsome lanceolate, rich-green leaf which surrounds the stem. The showy, orchid-like flowers are borne in terminal clusters and are a remarkable shade of rhubarb-orange-red. The flowers are asymmetric with the posterior petal (5 x 2cm) folded into a hood and the anterior petal 3cm wide divided into 2 broad lobes, 4cm long excluding the throat. 30-60cm dependant on conditions.
